Time and again, we come across Zoho Reports being used to analyze varied data sets. Below is a sampling of some of the recent public databases that we found interesting.
1. ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station)
I never knew that ISS was this connected with Hams, before I came across this ARISS database! Some interesting stats there, about events and contacts made by various schools with ISS, across countries.
2. Austin Real Estate
ABoR (Austin Board of Realtors) has a dashboard each for Travis County and Williamson County detailing avg list prices, foreclosure list price per zip code and types of financial transaction that were carried out.
3. IT Help Desk Stats
This is probably done by a system administrator for her IT team – a dashboard for data upload/download and computers being synced, and another dashboard that analyzes the number of support tickets raised.
4. Small Business Centre, North West Metro
A Dashboard that reports the results of a survey done over small businesses in Western Australia.
5. Ministry of Transport & Communication, Mexico
From what little I could decipher using Google Translate, each of the dashboards in this database give out the number of landslides, free passageways and damaged bridges, state-wise.
6. Traffic Accidents
This dashboard analyzes accident numbers – how many injured vs dead, males vs female motorcyclists involved in accidents, number of accidents in different age groups etc.
7. Australian Football Clubs
A dashboard made over Aussie football clubs data, and analysis of their profits.

Zoho Reports has added a lot of cool features recently. Let’s see some of the major features that have come in.
Scheduled Emailing of Reports with Filter Criteria
You’ve created a set of monthly sales reports. Only that you’d want to filter the region, so as the regional heads see the sales data of their own regions alone. We’ve seen how this can be done in Zoho Reports, without duplicating the same set of reports for each regional head. Now, let’s say you want the same reports to be mailed periodically to the intended recipients. This is possible now. All you’ve to do is,
- Open one of the reports to be mailed
- Click ‘Export’ -> ‘Email Multiple Views’ -> ‘As PDF’ Read more
Till now, project managers using Zoho Projects had access to limited reporting options – Gantt and resource utilization charts. Not anymore. Today, we are glad to announce the Zoho Projects Advanced Analytics Add-on, powered by Zoho Reports. Project managers can use this analytics add-on to know & track their key project metrics, and get lots of insights from their projects data.
When we published the Gain More Insight Into Sales With 3 Types of CRM Reports post, CRM user Wendy Wright wanted to know, “What % of leads were closed/won in the last month?” (i.e., how to know the total number of leads got, to those that finally got converted to sales)
This is where the Advanced Analytics Add-on for Zoho CRM, powered by Zoho Reports, comes in. It helps CRM users to slice and dice data, and get actionable insights.
