Despite looking a little like a deer caught in the headlights I have to say making the video was fun. I went through lots of ideas - more than one involving ninjas before sanity prevailed and I opted for normality. If I ever do another it will have ninjas (and maybe dinosaurs for my kids). If you haven't signed up for the partner program yet you should do - it has some great benefits and the Zoho team are very helpful.

How is this different than the Marketplace? The Marketplace does not seem to be that popular with Creator users. In fact, Creator does not seem to be a viable place for an micro-ISV to spend resources to develop products on (low download rates for paid apps). What is Zoho doing to address these deficiencies?
Today Zoho Marketplace is having good traction for project postings and solutions offered by developers using Creator. Yes, we do not have much of ISVs using Creator to offer their products. The main reason cited is, though creator is multi-tenant, the app created in creator is not multi-tenant. For n customers you need to have n copy of cloned applications. We have started to work on them. Do you think any other reasons? Hyther
For me the biggest difference is that as a partner I am differentiated and probably find it easier to have an open ended discussion around solutions in general rather than make me ABC for $XYZ... Zoho support a partner channel and the marketplace for different reasons and because they serve different purposes. Partners are able to discuss all manner of opportunities with Zoho in a way not supported by the narrower marketplace where the operation is primarily buy/sell - start/finish. I think the difference is strategic vs tactical.
