Kathy Sierra uses the following Horse Bliss' quote to explain Management Vs Employee Brain Use in her post titled The Zombie Function:

"The more you use your reins, the less they'll use their brains."

and goes on giving good advice to Managers. I've been a fan of Kathy since her comparison post on advertising. She keeps coming up with posts like these & as Hugh would say - Rock On, Kathy.
