How would this work for Creator Apps that are published in the Market Place and installed by other users?  Would they be responsible for creating their own CSV feeds and building their own DB & Reports?  Would they have to modify the code in the applications HTML Views to point to their own DB & Reports analysis?

And do Creator, DB & Reports, and Sheets use the same charting engine?

Right now, user has to go through the CSV feed steps. We are working on automating the whole chain, and integrating it. That should be available in a future update.

Charting engine: they use the same engine, but not the same version. They will be syncing up in due course.

This is an important step forward to closer integration. 

Just to be able to show this working to some interested parties in the short term is gonna drive interest for me.

Not trying to nail you down to a time of day but ballpark estimate for full integration? Q4 2008/Q1 2009???

Great feature Zoho. I remember seeing this feature available with Zoho Sheet and Zoho DB some time ago, but it's a great idea moving forward to make this avalable through Creator as well as from an accessible Web URL. Since I'm looking to develop Business Intelligence Financial Dashboards utilizing Zoho DB, this is very exciting news. Keep up the good work Zoho!

That's a very good idea. We do not have any immediate road map of releasing any ERP application, although that cannot be ruled out for the future.

How about integrating DB & Reports with Zoho Sheet?  I mean Sheet is like a DB so what I really want is the power of the Reports using a Sheet as my source.  

It seems to me the DB part of DB & Reports is having the hardest time gaining traction - how do you get the data into the DB?  Of course there's the API but within Zoho itself it's not used (common beef of mine: companies that don't integrate their own products).  

It would be cool if Sheet had way to use Reports from DB & Reports; and if Creator an option to "store data in DB" (not sure how this would affect Marketplace apps, but you guys are smart, you'll figure it out).

Zoho Sheet already has integrated Zoho DB's reporting capabilities. Zoho Sheet's Pivot tables and Pivot charts functionality, launched in April, actually integrates Zoho DB's reporting capabilities. You can easily create pivot tables and charts from your existing data in Zoho Sheet. Let us know what kind of integration you are looking at.

This is exciting. This has been one of my main wishes when I first saw Zoho DB and Reports. 

I only hope that the integration would be user-friendly / easy to learn for non-IT person like me.

I already had an import set from the csv feed but I forgot to set the schedule.  How do I edit my table to set the schedule?

Please follow the below steps to schedule the import

Steps:
1. Open the table that you want to schedule importing from the same URL which the table is created.

2. Click on import > Schedule/Refetch Import option from the toolbar

3. Click on the Edit button and input the schedule timing details.

Note: If you want to fetch the updated information immediately, click on the Refetch Now button.

4. Click on Save button

Importing is Scheduled.

Is the CSV import only way to connect to report?

Is it possible to use API and enter data into report/table via the zoho creator form.

I am trying to learn. So please bear with me if i am asking the obvious.

I am getting errors in import wizard after it fetched the rss feed.basically al lthe html code is ending up as junk column data in preview grid

Just for information, if you're getting a random bit of HTML in your Report when you try to import from Creator, it's because you need to click the option for a URL "without login" on the Creator export screen.  It's at the top of the window.  

Before we go into using zoho fulltime I would like to know how stable the company is?  Can anyone give me a heads up on your experience and if you know any financial information about Zoho?
