Entering data manually into any CRM app is not fun. Any solution that helps automate data entry is a win for CRM users. That is the idea behind our new mobile app for Zoho CRM – Card Scanner.

Card Scanner is an iPhone app that extracts contact information from business cards and saves it into Zoho CRM as Contacts or Leads. Take a photo of a business card and the app extracts information from it and automatically populates the information into the appropriate fields. Zoholics 2013: Agenda Published, Early Bird Pricing Ends Mar 31

In Jan, we announced Zoholics 2013, Zoho’s annual user conference to be held in San Francisco in May (29th-31st). We now published the agenda for the event at the Zoholics Website.

This two and a half day event is packed with over 55 sessions and a great lineup of Speakers including Ray Wang, Brent Leary, Doug Sleeter, Sridhar Vembu and more. The event features three parallel tracks including a dedicated track for Zoho CRM training with around 20 sessions.

The Early Bird pricing, which offers a 33% discount on our Standard ticket, ends Mar 31st. You may want to take advantage of this offer if you are planning to attend the event.

Announcing Zoholics 2013, Zoho’s Annual User Conference

Zoholics is back. The Zoho user conference we started last year received great response, so we are making it an annual event.

This year, Zoholics will be held at Hyatt Regency, San Francisco Airport. Based on popular demand and feedback from last year, we are expanding the event from one day to two and a half days. This will give us plenty of time to cover a plethora of topics and have enough time to interact with you through various sessions.

So, what can you expect from this year’s event?

You will have an opportunity to learn a lot about our apps through our
training sessions, interact with the Zoho team through various
workshops, learn about the trends in the industry and interact with

Introducing Mobile Apps for CRM, Projects & Docs

At the Zoholics event today in San Francisco, we introduced three new native mobile applications.

Zoho CRM on Android

Zoho Projects on iPhone

Zoho Docs on Android

Zoho CRM on Android is the most requested mobile app. We launched the application today in Google Play (Market) and is available for free for users with CRM Mobile edition enabled. The application offers offline access to your CRM data from a broad range of modules – Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Potentials, Tasks, Events, Calls & Cases. You can view, edit and delete data from your mobile.

With this release, Zoho CRM is now available on iPhone, Android & Blackberry along with our mobile web app.

Zoho Projects for iPhone is also announced at the Zoholics event today. This app brings three key modules to the iPhone – Activities, Tasks & Timesheet. You can now create edit and close your project tasks on the go.…

Zoholics Event Next Week

Our first Zoholics event in US is less than a week away. If you still didn’t register for the event, you might want to get your ticket right away as we only have a handful of tickets left.

We have great line up of speakers including Paul Greenberg, Gene Marks, Doug Sleeter and our own Sridhar Vembu. We have attendees from 19 states and 7 countries attending the event and frankly, we are surprised by the interest we have seen for the event.

If you are flying in to San Francisco, you can take the free shuttle form the airport to Hilton. If you are interested in the event, but couldn’t make it, we will keep you updated through our Twitter account. All sessions will be recorded and posted on Zoholics site after the event. The hashtag for the event is #zoholics.

Announcing Zoholics: Zoho User Conference

We are excited to announce our first Zoho user conference in US to be held on Mar 26th in San Francisco. We are calling the event Zoholics.

The event will feature two parallel tracks. First track is a generic track that focuses on all Zoho Apps in relation to industry trends. The second one is a training track with focus on our business apps, particularly CRM.

Paul Greenberg, a well known industry expert in CRM will be one of the keynote speakers along with Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho. More speakers and tracks will be added soon to the agenda. If you’d like to see any specific tracks in the agenda, this is a good time to send us your suggestions. Also, if you are using Zoho Apps in interesting ways and would like to share your experience on stage with other Zoho users, please drop us a line.
