Today, we are happy to announce the launch of mass emailing in Zoho Recruit. Now you can easily
send emails to a custom group of candidates, informing them about current job openings, seminars, tests, etc., all in a single click. Not only that, but you can personalize the email messages as well.

This helps you reach a large number of applicants quickly and efficiently. A copy of the sent mail is automatically recorded in respective candidate’s record for future reference.

Zoho Challenge – new customers and new features

It has been a month since we launched Zoho Challenge 2.0 and so far we are pretty happy with the response we’ve gotten. Our original target for the service was, as you’d probably imagine, the educational sector. But one of the things we’ve learned after going live with the service is that Zoho Challenge is well suited not only for schools, but also for the commercial sectors. We are (pleasantly!) surprised by the high uptake from customers other than education, including SMB customers – who are the mainstay of Zoho’s customer base are taking to the service pretty well.

So far, we have observed that businesses use Zoho Challenge for

Training and assessment needs for customers – used by training centers
Conduct knowledge assessments for employees
Internal training, validation and continuous improvement
Recruitment self assessment
Recruitment screening

Themes and Layouts for Zoho Creator

You can apply different layouts, colors, fonts and loads of other customizations to your Zoho Creator applications. No you don’t have to be an html or css expert to do that. As is the norm at Zoho Creator, all this is possible at the click of a mouse.

Zoho Creator offers 6 different layouts for your applications. You can choose from Pane Left, Pane Right, Tabs,Tabbed Pane Left, Tabbed Pane Right and Dropdown menus. You can segregate your forms/views into various sections and apply the required layout so that your application gets the right look.

Zoho Accounts

In this blog we talk about different Zoho applications and their features. But at the back-end, there is one little known module that connects all Zoho Applications – Zoho Accounts

Zoho Accounts took shape when we rolled out Single Sign-on for Zoho Apps. Since then, we added quite a bit of functionality enhancing Zoho Accounts which is included across all applications (check out ‘My Account’ link on the top right in any Zoho App). It is this module that enabled Google & Yahoo! sign-ins across Zoho Apps.

Zoho Accounts let you configure your personal settings that are common across all Zoho applications. The Contacts module lets you import contacts from multiple sources including your Google & Yahoo!
