In recent times, there has been a lot of debate about the real value of college degrees. This seemingly-academic discussion assumes deeper significance given that college students have been – for a long time now – racking up tremendous volumes of educational debt. Sizable percentages of new graduates are beginning their professional careers deeply mired in debt that takes them a long time to pay off, if they ever succeed in doing so.

Plotting and visualizing data can be fun. And if the data involves the ongoing Olympics, it can be doubly so! As with previous Olympics (Vancouver 2010, Beijing 2008), we have compiled some interesting dashboards for London 2012 Olympics too. The dashboards are powered by Zoho Reports and hosted on Zoho Sites.
We plan to add new data and reports as the Olympic games progress, and we will keep you updated. If you like to see any other report added, do leave your comments.

Articles about the state of the economy in the media invariably feature one or more graphs. Say how the GDP has fared over the last few quarters or how the inflation has been over the last few years. Various government agencies are involved in publishing these indicators. Sites like http://www.data.gov, http://www.bea.gov, http://www.census.gov etc publish lots of such data regularly. The difficulty here is that you might get overwhelmed with loads of data. You can get lost in searching for what you want across multiple sites. So we thought of putting some of the important indicators all at one place, as a Zoho Reports dashboard.
You can mouse over/click a bar or a point to see the underlying data. Let us know if you would like any other metric to be included in the above dashboard. The whole reporting database is available here.
There’s this saying in India, “If cricket’s a religion, Sachin is God”. The exploits of this 5′ 5″ Little Master (he also goes by other names like Master Blaster & Batting Maestro) over the past two decades can’t be summed up that easily. His latest – becoming the first batsman in One Day Internationals history to score a double century! We have made an attempt to crunch all those runs that Sachin has piled on over his impressive cricketing career using Zoho Reports. Click on the below image to visit the dashboard.
Hope you like the Sachin Tendulkar Dashboard for ODIs. We also have a similar dashboard done for Tests too. Best Wishes to Sachin on his special double ton and we believe he’ll continue to excel on the cricket field in the years to come!
