Zoho Notebook: Streamline Your Productivity With iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura

Zoho Notebook has some exciting updates now available for iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura!

Apple has launched their new iPadOS and macOS, and it's impressively tailored to streamline the productivity of our app. Now, your favorite note-taking app is more powerful when paired with Apple's technology. Because we provide new features with each of Apple’s updates, we're excited to take things to the next level once again. Read on to learn everything about these new updates.

Share Checklist Cards during FaceTime

Now, users can collaborate with their peers while on FaceTime by sharing a Checklist Card with them using SharePlay. The SharePlay option will be enabled in the edit toolbar of your Notebook app, where you can share a Checklist Card on an active call. You can also open Notebook from the FaceTime app and share Checklist Cards (you can only share and edit one note at a time).

Focus mode filters for Notebook

Manage your Notebook app’s behavior with iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura's Focus Mode with predefined options. Now, you can set light/dark mode, font sizes, image scaling sizes, and default color to your notes. If Focus Mode is not enabled, then default Notebook app settings will be applied. You can switch back to the default settings in Focus Mode by enabling Use App Settings at any point while using the app.

Extract text from images

Now, it’s possible to copy text from any image that you add to your Text Cards and Photo Cards. You can directly select and copy all of the text in an image without any clutter. Also, if you select a phone number, an email address or a link–you can make a call, send an email, and preview the link respectively.

New shortcuts and Siri intents

With Siri’s help, you can now mark all of your expired reminders as done, show upcoming reminder notes marked as done, and all of your expired reminders as read. All of these activities will have a confirmation alert. You can view all of the shortcuts in the Shortcuts app with zero user set up, and you can also access these shortcuts directly by adding them to your Home screen.

Stage Manager for Notebook

We're delighted to tell you that we now support this beneficial feature in our app. With the Stage Manager feature, you can easily split up your notes into multiple resizeable windows and work on different notes in each window at the same time. Manage different types of notes in less time and stay on top of your work using iPadOS 16.

Pick images from Photo Picker

Now, you can upload photos from your library using the Photo Picker option available on your Mac. Whether you want to insert images into your note cards or to create a specific Photo Card, you can select images from this option. It’s not only photos; you can also upload covers of your notebooks from this Photo Picker option. We hope you find this feature one of the handiest of all.

We hope you like these handy updates on Notebook. If you haven’t tried the recent iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura yet, we recommend that you upgrade your device and enjoy these special features on your Notebook app.
